Dear Ina,

One thing that's been going on for a few days is what is pre-selected as shipping when I print labels.

I have a bunch of free-shipping items with 1st Class Package as the shipping method. When I go to print a label, it always defaulted to 1st Class Package. NOT ANYMORE. Now it defaults to either Priority or Express (which are way more expensive).

The 1st Class option actually says "Buyer Selected" but isn't what eBay selects as a default. It would be real easy for sellers not to notice that if they have printed a lot before and it changes...all you have to do is click purchase and bam, it's paid for and there's your label. Then you'd have to request a refund for it and re-do the label printing - if you noticed.

Found another thing that's REALLY BAD in my opinion. I have a listing with calculated shipping and 2 options set up (Priority and Ground). BUT, the buyer only sees the Ground shipping and can't select Priority. It's just not there. I "removed" the priority and re-added as a second option, but it didn't fix it. Looks like eBay is ONLY showing the first option you select for shipping so if you have some with multiple options, go check them.

C.

PS: Disregard that one point about buyer not being able to change the shipping or select a different one. It's there after they buy and enter their information. It's not very intuitive, but it is there.
