BUCYRUS—The staff and customers of Label Shopper, located in the East Pointe Shopping Center near Walmart in Bucyrus, are celebrating their one-year anniversary of the store opening.
Manager Stacy Kragh Uhl has been with the store since the day it opened on Sept. 8, 2019.
“I’ve been the manager since the store was being set up last September. My assistant has been with me just as long and almost all of our other girls started within the same month,” said Uhl. “We pride ourselves on great customer service and try to do all we can to make our customers shopping experience one that makes them happy and wanting to come back. We depend on them to stay open; we work for them. Their word of mouth is our advertisement.”
She said Label Shopper is a firsthand, non-irregular, name brand clothing store that sells items at a deeply discounted price.
“There are men’s, junior’s, misses, and plus size clothing and sleepwear. We also carry shoes, jewelry, purses, and accessories, such as scarves, ties, belts and hats. We get new merchandise every two weeks and have deep discount sales twice a year in the spring and fall, as well as a Friends and Family day, usually in November, where the entire store is 25 percent off,” said Uhl.
She said her store is an asset to the community.
“We are able to save customers money and time while fulfilling their clothing needs for back to school, job interviews, weddings, Christmas and just retail therapy in general. Also, any establishment in our county is a wonderful thing. We bring people to the county from other counties as far as Richland, Ashland, Marion and other surrounding areas,” said Uhl. “We have customers who drive from a little over an hour away just to shop here and then they enjoy a meal somewhere local.”
Customer Brenda Pack comes to Bucyrus to shop at the store from Heath, Ohio.
“I travel to Bucyrus to shop at Label Shopper. Their prices are worth the distance to shop. I have bought a lot of outfits and shoes that would normally cost me hundreds of dollars. My last purchase was four pairs of shoes and 10, if not more, outfits. My purchase cost was around $111,” said Pack. “The clothing is very well made and fits so well. I love the bargains I found and the quality so traveling to achieve the shopping experience and the treasures I find are worth the long-distance trip.”
Bucyrus resident Chris Copper said shopping is a hobby for her because she loves the thrill of the hunt, with Labels Shopper being one of her favorite stores.
“The quality high fashion, creme de la creme brands, I am in search of include J Jill, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Chicos, Levi’s, etc. Two miles from my home, I now can access these high-quality boutique clothing items for 10 to 20 percent of the retail cost,” said Copper. “Quickly, a number of items I have purchased are my go-to dresses for Board meetings to dinner out on the weekend. I am so thankful Label Shopper chose Bucyrus for one of their store locations, along with customer-focused staff.”
Danielle Rebon, a keyholder at the store, has worked there for the past year.
“I love working at the store. I enjoy working with the customers and the awesome staff. It is a blessing to our community. I always tell people we sell name brand items at thrift store prices. We have something for everyone and it is affordable,” said Rebon.
The hours of operation at Label Shopper are Monday thru Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
