Publishing under the theme “We Color Digital,” Valloy has released this affordable and compactly designed tabletop digital diecutter, DuoBlade Petit. The product has been resized from its popular product, DuoBlade SX. This new product maintains the key features like laminating, multi-head diecutting, slitting and matrix removal in its small body, to operate together with narrow roll label printers on the table for small and short run business.
DuoBlade Petit has been engineered for short run and in-house label production DuoBlade Petit is based on roll-to-roll digital blade cutting technology. The average cutting speed is 8 m/m and it works with a blade, not a laser. Also, it has two cutting heads like DuoBlade SX, functioned with automatic adjustment of cutting head spacing.
The product is intended to help deal with the pandemic environment and expanding industries like food packaging and delivery.
Every required function is embedded in this small all-in-one machine, occupying 2 square meters of working space only. DuoBlade Petit works for not only diecutting and lamination but also slitting, trimming and matrix removal too. With the help of a buffering zone, continuous rotation of the rewinder without step enables a much more stable matrix removal and slitting process in constant speed. DuoBlade Petit produces any size and shape labels, the company says.
