General Motors Issues Service Bulletin For Incorrect Label In 2020 Corvette Cabin - GM Authority

soerasu.blogspot.com

General Motors has issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) for an incorrect label inside the 2020 Corvette cabin. The misprinted label includes an incorrect radio frequency identification.

The new TSB applies to 2020 Corvette models in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Affected vehicles come with a misprinted radio frequency (RF) identification number on the RF label affixed to the back of the radio display.

To correct this issue, dealers must print a new label in color and place it inside the owner’s manual of the affected 2020 Corvette. No parts are required to fix this issue. General Motors has corrected the applicable Certificate Identification Numbers for the Near-Field Communication device with an updated label that’s added to the back of the radio display. Customers are asked to keep the letter with the new Certificate Identification Numbers in the 2020 Corvette glove box along with the owner’s manual.

As a reminder, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette represents an all-new eighth generation for the iconic Corvette nameplate. Three trim levels are offered, including the 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT. The cabin of the 2020 Corvette is equipped with one-touch Bluetooth pairing via Near Field Communication technology.

Complementary technology features include wireless device charging, learn-as-you-go voice recognition software, real-time traffic updates, and a 12-inch customizable instrument cluster with six different driver modes. Two Bose audio systems are offered with regard to stereo equipment, including a 10-speaker premium system, and an optional 14-speaker Performance Series system.

Mounted just behind the cabin is the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 LT2 engine, which produces 495 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque when equipped with the performance exhaust system included with the optional Z51 Performance Package. Output is routed to the rear wheels by way of an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission co-developed with Tremec.
