Holbrook was upgraded a category in the latest COVID-19 state report.
The town, which previously was color-coded red to indicate that the average daily incident rate was more than eight cases per 100,000 residents, improved to the yellow category as a moderate risk community, according to the state Department of Public Health.
Holbrook averaged 7.0 average daily incidence rate for the two-week period ending Oct. 21.
There have been 821 tests on Holbrook residents in that time, with 15 coming back positive. There have been 5,536 total tests this year.
The statewide average daily case rate over the past 14 days climbed to 9.2 cases per 100,000 residents in the weekly update published Thursday, up from an average of 8.7 cases per 100,000 residents a week ago.
