Absolute Label Services is looking for a label manager to join our growing successful team!
Established 23 years ago, Absolute is the leading independent label services business, working with some of the best labels and artists in the independent sector.
We pride ourselves on incredible service and due to demand we are now looking to fill a new role for another passionate label manager to join our team.
You will be the primary contact for your clients both established and emerging, across a variety of genres. You will be familiar with all aspects of putting put out digital singles, EP’s and albums into the market and able to multi-task, whilst working to deadlines
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage existing label relationships
- Advise and implement release strategy, including devising and executing marketing plans
- Responsible for the co-ordination of digital assets, scheduling releases and liaising with in-house digital submissions and pitching teams
- Devise, implement and coordinate audience growth campaigns
- Full campaign management, liaising with promo teams and ensuring information flows quickly between all team members
- Liaise with in-house digital departments, production departments and neighbouring rights team
- Management of budgets and working alongside the Directors and Finance team
- Create new opportunities for labels during release cycle and beyond
- Explore new artist, label and industry partnerships with the ability to close deals
- Analyse sales, streaming and all relevant data
- Be aware of the changing nature of the digital landscape and educate clients with new routes to market and best practices
- Experience with the physical retail market
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years significant experience in the music industry
- Knowledge of digital distribution, metadata requirements and DSP editorial landscape
- Familiar with the pitching deadlines, opportunities and processes with the digital service providers
- Have a well-rounded view and understanding of how the industry works
- Proven experience of traditional and digital marketing campaigns
- Excellent established contacts across labels, management companies and digital service platforms
- Knowledge of the label services sector an advantage
